Can you believe that there are only 8 more Friday’s until Christmas? Have you even started to think about holiday cards with Halloween in just a few days? I send holiday cards every year, but this year I’m changing it up from my usual glitter store-bought cards and I’m adding a personal touch with a clean, modern design. I’m doing holiday cards with design-marketplace Minted.
I’m conditioned to holiday cards – and am glad I am. My mom and grandma sent them out every year and I always loved setting up the display of all of the ones we received. 2015 was a killer year and there is so much cheer spread this holiday, especially since I haven’t been in touch with my loved ones as much as I would’ve liked to. In the past, I’ve shied away from photo cards because, for one, I’m not married and two, I don’t have cute kids to show off.
So I asked myself, “Who said I can’t send a solo photo card?”
So I’m sending one! Here are a few designs that I’m debating between from Minted. The pictures are placeholder (and some you’ve probably seen before), but I figured I’d give it an honest attempt in order to get familiar with Minted’s system. Let me tell you; it was too easy. From uploading pictures to editing, dragging and dropping text, the process is seamless.
Aside from 2015 being a big year for me personally, it’s been a big year for The Lipstick Giraffe! They have business holiday card templates, too, so I couldn’t help but play with a couple of them.
Minted even goes the distance to send you a proof of your card before committing, not to mention they can import your contacts, address your envelopes and mail them out if you want. For this #ladyboss, that’s just the kind of help I’m looking for. Bonus: If you work with Christie for your photos this holiday, in addition to providing digital files, she will upload them directly into their system so you literally just have to log on and choose the card you want.
So tell me, which design is your favorite? Leave a comment below with your fav as well as your favorite holiday tradition for a chance to win $50 to Minted toward your holiday cards! I must warn you, Minted is much more than stationary.
Try not to go down the rabbit hole of art and home decor. There are so many possibilities for your home and for gifts, which is why I love Minted for being the coolest one-stop-shops ever. Check out all of the cool things they do on their website and Instagram.
