You can do just about anything virtually. Pay bills, buy clothing, get a date, order food, and even be present at an event or meeting. When you stop and think about it, it’s all a little bit scary! Over time, we can get too relaxed with some of our personal information and all it takes is one incident for our cautious walls to go up, and to start double-triple checking everything. What about playing it safe from the beginning?
I’d like to introduce you to Sudo, an app that protects you and your information from being compromised so you don’t need to go through all of that later. With Sudo, you’re able to create safe and secure personas that help you take care of your personal and professional needs all within the app.
You start by creating your persona, which unlocks a myriad of features, including a phone number, which allows you to call or text anyone worldwide for free. Yes, you read that right, for free, so you can keep in touch with your friend in Italy if you need to! If you’re a solopreneur and need a business line, consider downloading Sudo first so you don’t have to give out your personal mobile number out. With Sudo you can create one (or a few) phone numbers. This can save you a lot of headache later because it’s all within the app.
And it doesn’t stop there.
Emailing back and forth with someone over Craigslist? Needing that extra layer of privacy for correspondence? You are able to create a personalized email address with Sudo, too! Need one or need four, create one for each identity in the app. Worried about space? There’s no need to because you’ve got 1GB of storage per address.
The feature that excites me the most is the virtual credit card system. Ever had someone make a fraudulent purchase with your information, or have been wary when shopping online? Sudo adds a layer of protection for you against all of that. Create a virtual, disposable card that is connected to your Apple Pay and you’re good to go. SudoPay allows for real-time transaction info so you’re able to keep track of everything as it’s happening. No surprises.
