With 4th of July just a few days away, there are flag tee shirts, dresses and decor all around! But you don’t need to be star-spangled to dress in spirit. All it takes is a little denim and some pops of red to make your red, white and blue dreams come true.
I did a triple take when I saw these Cole Haan wedge sandals on the DSW SF sale rack. At 85% off, and with a retro look, there was no way I could say no! This modern wedge is the perfect base (literally) for any spring outfit, and I styled it with a fun weekend of exploring Midtown Sac in mind.
I’m hittin you with another dose of street style from the Midtown Farmers’ Market! The last time that I captured street style at the market, I was overjoyed with the amount of stylish folks grabbing their goodies and this past Saturday was no exception.
I’d like to say that I spend my days tending to The Lipstick Giraffe in my posh office during the week, but the truth is, much of this I take on the road and fit in at various points in the day and the Lenovo YOGA Tablet 2 Pro has made this Content Creating Fashionista’s life much easier.
As the Farm to Fork Capitol of America, Sacramento lives up to its title with its bounty of events and farmers markets. However, there isn’t one quite like the Midtown Farmers Market. 20th Street shuts down for a few hours on a Saturday morning, and there’s no shortage of fresh produce and artisans – or STYLE!
OK, so it’s hard to believe it’s winter when we’ve had such amazing weather here in Sac, but in fact, it is winter for a few more days! Regardless of the season, my legs are a part of my body that rarely get cold, so with temperatures hitting the upper 70’s for the next several days, there’s no better time to show some leg in these suede shorts.
Hope you’re enjoying your Tuesday. It’s still pretty warm here in Sacramento, and there’s nothing better than sitting on a patio, enjoying a cool beverage, doing a little work and people watching, too. This time, I chose the Chocolate Fish Coffee patio. The East Sac one is in my neighborhood and is a great place to read, gather and enjoy some killer coffee and teas. There are two locations and both have super friendly staff. This location was closing as Christie and I took pictures on the patio, but they didn’t rush us out, which was very nice.
